Directions

Cooking Instructions: 1 cup long grain brown rice; 2 1/2 cups water; salt to taste. Bring 2-1/2 cups water to a boil in a pot. Rinse the rice under running water and add rice to boiling water. Cook the rice, uncovered, for 30 minutes. Take off heat, drain the remaining cooking water, cover the pot and let the rice sit for 10 minutes. Fluff with a fork, season as desired, and serve. Store in a cool, dry place.
