Cooking Instructions: Do not defrost. Cook from frozen. Cook thoroughly to 165 degrees F. If any tortellini are frozen together, do not separate. They will usually separate during cooking. For best results, use stove-top instructions. For food safety and quality, follow these cooking instructions. Stove Top: (1) Boil 4 quarts of water (optional: add 1 tablespoon oil to prevent sticking); (2) Add tortellini to boiling water; (3) Simmer for 2-3 minutes or until desired tenderness, stirring occasionally; (4) Simmer until reaching an internal temperature of 165 degrees F for at least 30 seconds; (5) Drain and serve. Microwave: Microwave: Microwave oven: (Heating instructions were tested in a 1200 watt microwave oven). (1) Mix 1/2 cup of your favorite sauce with a 1/3 cup of water; (2) Place 1 cup of tortellini in a microwaveable dish, add sauce and cover; (3) Heat on high power (100%) for 4-5 minutes, stirring halfway. Let stand 2 minutes before serving; (4) Remove cover carefully as steam is hot. (Note: Microwave ovens may vary; adjust cooking times accordingly). Cook before eating. Keep frozen.
