1/2 cup rice; 3/4 cup water or broth; 1-1/2 teaspoons butter or oil. Boil: Cooking Instructions: Combine rice, water or broth and butter or oil (optional) in a pot and bring to a boil. Cover with o lid, reduce heat to low and cook 15 minutes. Remove from heat (with lid on) and steam for 10 minutes. Fluff with fork. If rice is still not tender of the end of cooking time, it may be necessary to add 1-2 tablespoons liquid and cook longer. If prepared in a rice cooker, use the same water-rice ratio.
