Ruprecht's Kung Pao Chicken with Jasmine Rice Fully Cooked

Keep refrigerated. Just heat and serve! Remove plastic and paper sleeve from tray before heating. Stove top (simmering water): fill a medium size pot 3/4 of the way full with water and bring to a boil. Place pouch of kung pao chicken into the pot, turn heat down to low and simmer for 4-6 minutes. Add in pouch of jasmine rice and heat together for another 5 minutes. Turn off heat, remove pouches from pot and allow to rest for 3 minutes before serving. Conventional stove top: open pouch of Kung Pao Chicken and pour contents into a small saucepot, cover and heat on low for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and allow to rest 3 minutes before serving. Open pouch of jasmine rice and pour contents into a small saucepot. Add 2 tablespoons of water, stir and heat for 4 minutes on low. Microwave: place unopened pouch of Kung Pao Chicken in the microwave safe tray and pierce several times on the top. Place tray in the microwave for 1 minute on high. Pierce pouch of jasmine rice, place in the microwave and heat for 1 minute more with the Kung Pao Chicken. Remove from microwave and allow to rest for 3 minutes before serving. *If frozen, thaw in refrigerator overnight.
