Cooking Instructions: Note: For drier rice, remove 1/4 cup water. For moister rice, add 1/4 cup more water. On the Stove: In a saucepan, add 1 cup golden star brown jasmine rice to 2 1/2 cup water. Cover with a lid and bring to a boil. Lower heat and simmer for 40-45 minutes or until all water is absorbed. Remove from heat, let cool for 5 minutes, fluff rice and serve. In the Microwave: In a microwave-safe bowl, add 1 cup of golden star brown jasmine rice to 3 cups water. microwave, uncovered, for 10 minutes. Reduce power to 50% and microwave, uncovered, for 20 minutes. Let cool for 5 minutes, fluff rice and serve. Please not that the microwave ovens vary and cooking times are approximate.
