Stovetop Directions: 1. Stir macaroni into 6 cups boiling water. Boil 10 to 12 minutes or to desired tenderness, stirring occasionally. 2. Drain macaroni (Important: Do not rinse) and return to pan. 3. Cut open cheese sauce pouch and squeeze onto hot macaroni. 4. Stir until cheese sauce is melted and well blended. Microwave Directions: 1. In a covered 2-quart microwaveable casserole, microwave 3-cups water on high 4 to 6 minutes or until boiling. 2. Stir in macaroni. 3. Microwave on high, uncovered, 10 to 12 minutes (stir every 4 minutes) or to desired tenderness. 4. Drain macaroni and return to casserole. 5. Cut open cheese sauce pouch and squeeze onto hot macaroni. 6. Mix well until cheese sauce is melted and well blended. Microwave Reheating Directions: For added creaminess, add 1 tablespoon milk or water to a 1 cup serving before reheating. Caution: Bowl will be hot. Because microwaves cook differently, times are approximate. Stir-in Ideas: Fold in one or more of the following ingredients: one drained 6-1/8 oz can of tuna; one cup cooked peas or broccoli; one-half cup chopped, cooked ham or chicken; four chopped, cooked hot dogs.
