Jack Daniel's Smoking Chunks, Whiskey Barrel

1 package

Directions

Instructions: When grilling over charcoal, add three or four chunks directly onto the coals a few minutes before you are ready to cook. The chunks will burn and smoke with a flavorful combination of Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey and White Oak. Add more chunks as needed, but be careful with the flames to ensure you do not burn your food. When off-set smoking, place chunks on or near the lit coals so they smoke and smolder without burning up too quickly. Use four to six chunks, depending on the size of your smoker. Add more chunks as needed throughout the cooking process.

350 cu in (5.74 cu dm). No. 7 old brand. Made from authentic Jack Daniel's barrel wood. Give that great Jack Daniel's flavor to the foods you cook. Handcrafted Barrels: Every drop of Jack Daniel's Tennessee whiskey is made in Lynchburg, Tennessee at America's oldest registered distillery. The folks there still use the same care and methods that Jack Daniel established back in 1866. This commitment to quality, along with unique charcoal-mellowed flavor, has led to Jack Daniel's fame around the world, a simple reminder that quality never goes out of style. Jack Daniel's Tennessee whiskey is aged in charred white oak barrels. During the aging process, the whiskey is drawn in and out of the wood, giving it its distinctive color and flavor. A portion of whiskey remains in the wood after the barrels are emptied. Some of these barrels are made into Jack Daniel's whiskey barrel smoking chunks. These wood blocks add the distinct flavor of Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey to the food cooked on your charcoal grill or smoker.
