Refrigerate after opening. Our Alessi Marinara Pasta Sauce is best when heated only to the point of being ready to serve. Overheating results in the continuation of cooking and changes the flavor. Heat in a medium, heavy bottomed pan and serve over cooked al dente pasta. Top with fresh basil leaves and freshly grated cheese, if desired. Alessi Smooth Marinara Pasta Sauce makes a great pizza sauce too.

All natural. Pear shaped Italian tomatoes and Alessi extra virgin olive oil. Made with imported Italian tomatoes. All natural Alessi Pasta Sauce tastes homemade because it's made like the Alessi's make it at home. Fresh garlic and onion are sauteed in Alessi Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Strained Italian pear shaped tomatoes and fresh basil leaf are then added. The tomatoes are picked from the fields of Italy in their prime; juicy, red and vine ripened. The sauce is then seasoned with Alessi sea salt and cooked only enough to preserve the fresh tomato taste and to marry the flavors.
