Directions
Wear gloves. Evenly sprinkle Morton Safe-T-Power Calcium Chloride over an icy or snow packed surface (about 1/4 to 1/2 cup per square yard). Remove slush after melting has occurred. Storage: Seal container tightly and store in a dry area. Do not store where leaking of contents might cause damage.

Lowest temperature ice melter. Melts to -25 degrees F. Good housekeeping since 1909. Morton Safe-T-Power is a high purity calcium chloride deicer that melts ice and snow at lower temperatures than salt and other deicers.
Warnings
All deicers can accelerate surface damage to concrete, since they increase the number of freeze-thaw cycles. Poor quality concrete is especially susceptible to deicer damage. Use this product only on properly formulated, cured, placed, air-entrained concrete. Do not use on concrete lest than one year old or on brick or flagstone walkways having mortar joints. Do not take internally. Avoid contact with eyes, skin or clothing. Avoid breathing dust. Wash thoroughly after handling. Cold temperatures from melting ice and snow can cause discomfort to pet's paws. This product must be used at the user's own risk of loss or damage from its use, storage or handling. First Aid: In case of eye contact, immediately flush with large quantities of water. For skin contact, rinse thoroughly with water. Seek medical attention if either skin or eye irritation persists. If ingested, rinse mouth thoroughly with water. Large quantities may require medical attention. Keep out of reach of children.
