Directions

Basic Cooking: 1 lb/453.6g Beans; 12 c. water; 2 tsp. salt. Wash and sort. Use a heavy kettle with a capacity of at least 3 times the amount of water and beans. Boil 2 minutes, cover and remove from heat. Allow to stand 1 hour, return to heat, add variation(s) (At Kelley Bean, we take care to always select, process and package the freshest beans available. This package may contain beans from previous harvest) and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer approximately 1-1/2 hours or until tender.
