Directions
Stove Top: Brown 1 pound of ground beef in a 10-inch skillet, and drain. Stir in 2 cups of Great Value milk, 1 cup of hot water, the sauce mix, and the uncooked pasta. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally. Reduce the heat; cover and simmer about 14 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender. Remove from the heat, uncover, and let stand for 5 minutes, or until the sauce is the desired consistency. (The sauce will thicken as it stands.) Microwave: In a 2-1/2 quart microwaveable bowl or casserole, crumble 1 pound of ground beef. Microwave uncovered on high for 3 minutes. Break up the meat into smaller pieces and continue to microwave for 2 to 4 minutes more, until the meat is brown, and drain. Mix in 2 cups of Great Value milk, 1 cup of hot water, the sauce mix, and the uncooked pasta. Microwave uncovered on high for 12 to 16 minutes, stirring every 4 minutes, until the pasta is tender. (The sauce will thicken as it stands.) Caution: The bowl will be hot. Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
