Spray any time during the growing season when weeds are actively growing. Do not treat St. Augustine or centipedegrass during periods of heat stress (high temperatures) or drought stress. 2. For best results, thoroughly water lawn 1 to 2 days before treating. 3. Do not treat when air temperatures exceed 85 degrees F or damage to grass may occur. 4. Do not water within 24 hours after treatment. Poor weed control may result if spray is applied just before rain. 5. On new lawns, wait until the grass has reached a height of 2 inches before treating. Wait 3 weeks after treatment before seeding or planting stolons in the bare spots. 6. Avoid sprays which are too fine because they can drift and damage other plants. 7. If certain tough weeds are not dead within 3 weeks, spot treat. 8.
