1. Put arms through suspender and unhook the double tension straps. Grasping each end of belt, center on lower back. Stretch belt straight out to the side, wrap around your body and attach Velcro closure material. 2. Unfasten the pull tension straps on each side of belt and pull toward the front. Attach straps to the Valero receiving material on the sides of belt. Belt must feel comfortably snug (not tight) around the lower back. Adjust the suspenders (if utilized), by sliding the buckle up and down. Cleaning Instructions: Close all hooks and closures. Handwash with mild soap in lukewarm water, dry out of direct sunlight. Do not dry in dryer. Suspenders-Keep belt with you even when unfastened. Adjustable side bands-For a snug custom fit and comfortable support. Stays- Bilateral support maintains better positions of the belt on your body and helps keep your back in correct lifting posture. Ventilated Nylon Elastic- For cooler airflow and comfortable fit. Hook & Loop Closures- Made from high quality, durable material for rugged use. Provides long lasting opening & closing. Lifting Technique-Most back injuries result from improper lifting. Pro lifting techniques must be followed at all time when performing lifting and strenuous activities. The use of Action Belt does not guarantee to prevent back injuries, but will remind the wearer to use proper lifting techniques. Get a firm footing. Keep your feet apart (shoulder width) for a stable base and point toes out. Bend with knees. Don't bend at the waist. Keep the principles of leverage in mind. Tighten your stomach muscles. Abdominal muscles support your spine when you lift, offsetting the force of the load. Train muscle groups to work together. Lift with your legs. Let your powerful leg muscles do the work of lifting, not your weaker back muscles. Keep load close to you. Don't hold the load away from your body. The closer it is to your spine, the less force it exerts on your back. Keep your back upright. Whether you are lifting or putting down the load, don't add the weight of your body to the load. Avoid twisting; it can cause injury.
