You can't get into trouble by spending too much. Safer than cash. Your money is protected if your personalized card is lost or stolen. It's reloadable. Add money to your personalized card at the store or with direct deposit. Federal law requires us to obtain, verify and record information that identifies customers before they register a new card. This means that you will need to provide your name, address, date of birth, Social Security Number and other information. No refunds allowed at store for any reason. Call Green Dot for refunds. Must be 18 or older to register and receive a personalized card. The temporary card can only be used in the USA and cannot be used for cash withdrawals. Your Monthly Charge will be assessed 30 days from when you register your card or 90 days after card purchase, whichever comes first. If your card is lost or stolen, we will reimburse your lost money and send a replacement card for a fee of $4.95.
