Directions
Keep frozen. To Thaw Shrimp: For best results, place desired amount of shrimp in a covered bowl. Place bowl in refrigerator for approximately 8-10 hours. Before use, refresh shrimp by rinsing in cold water. For quick thawing, place desired amount of shrimp in a colander and rinse shrimp under cold running water for 5-10 minutes or until thawed. Do not use hot water. Use shrimp immediately or refrigerate in a covered bowl until ready to cook. Simple Cooking Ideas: Boiling - Bring 2-3 quarts of salted water to a boil. Add Roundy's Raw Shrimp (thawed) and simmer for approximately 3 minutes. Shrimp in the shape of a C equals cooked. Shrimp in the shape of an O equals overdone. Grilling or Broiling - Skewer shrimp and alternate with vegetables of your choice. Marinate for 2 hours or brush with olive oil before cooking. Cook on a grill or broil for 3-5 minutes at medium temperature.
