How to Use Insulin Syringes: 1. To open - separate paper backing from plastic by grasping tab ends (indicated by Peel to Open arrow) and peeling apart with both hands. 2. To remove sheath - place the syringe between the forefinger and the thumb. Pushing lightly with the thumb, ease the sheath off the syringe. Please Note: This process for removing the sheath is recommended to prevent damaging the needle point as well as personal injury. 3. Fill and use according to instructions of physician. Always handle needles with care. Bent, used, damaged, or improperly recapped needles can result in needle breakage, damage to tissue or transmission of infectious diseases. Do not recap except as permitted by OSHA, CDC or local policy. Dispose of this product in a puncture resistant container, following local ordinances.
