Directions

Spray Guard: To remove guard, gently pull from nozzle end. After use, push guard back over nozzle until it snaps on. Shake well before use. Adults and Children 12 Years of Age or Older: Spray into throat or onto affected area with two sprays per use and then swallow. Use every 4 hours, but not more than 4 times daily or as directed by a doctor or dentist. Children 6 to 12 Years of Age: Should be supervised in the use of this product. Spray into throat or onto affected area with one spray per use and then swallow. Use every 4 hours, but not more than 4 times daily or as directed by a doctor or dentist. Children Under 6 Years of Age: Do not use. Store at room temperature (68-77 degrees F) (20-25 degrees C). Do not freeze.

Indications

Temporarily: relieves occasional minor irritation, pain, sore mouth, and sore throat; controls coughs due to minor throat and bronchial irritation as may occur with a cold; relieves minor discomfort and protects irritated areas in sore mouth and sore throat.

Ingredients

Active Ingredients: Benzocaine (5.0%), Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide 5.0 mg/spray), Glycerin (30.0%). Inactive Ingredients: Citric Acid, Deionized Water, Flavor, Mono Ammonium Glycyrrhizinate, Neotame, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, PVP, SD Alcohol 38B, Sucralose.

Warnings

Allergy Alert: Do not use this product if you have a history of allergy to local anesthetics such as procaine, butacaine, benzocaine or any other caine anesthetic. Sore Throat Warning: Severe or persistent sore throat or sore throat accompanied by high fever, headache, nausea or vomiting may be serious. Consult a doctor promptly. Do not use for more than 2 days or give to children under 6 years of age. Do not use this product if you have a cough that is accompanied by excessive phlegm (mucus) or for persistent or chronic cough such as occurs with smoking, asthma, or emphysema unless directed by a doctor; you are now taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric or emotional conditions, or Parkinson's disease), or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. If you do not know if your prescription drug contains an MAOI, ask a doctor or pharmacist before taking the product. Stop use and ask a doctor if sore mouth symptoms do not improve in 7 days, or if irritation, pain or redness persists or worsens; cough persists for more than 7 days, tends to recur, or is accompanied by fever, rash, or persistent headache. These could be signs of a serious condition. If pregnant or breast feeding, ask a health professional before use. Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. Do not exceed recommended dosage. Flammable. Do not use near fire, flame or heat. When using this product do not get into eyes. If contact occurs, rinse eyes thoroughly with water. If irritation persists, consult a doctor.
