Daily Recommended Feeding: Adult Cat: Increase or decrease the serving size according to your cat's size, age, weight, and activity level to maintain optimum body weight. Use the standard chart as a guide. Feeding instructions for average cat with normal activity. 1 to 5 lb Cat Size: 1/8 to 1/2 cup daily. 6 to 10 lb Cat Size: 1/2 to 1 cup daily. 11 to 15 lb Cat Size: 1 to 1-1/2 cups daily. 15+ lb Cat Size: 1-1/2 cups plus 1/2 cup for each additional 4 lbs of body weight daily. Kittens: Kittens generally nibble on semi-solid foods at three to four weeks of age. After weaning at six to eight weeks of age, kittens normally eat dry or moistened food at will. Kittens will eat up to 2 to 3 times the amount shown. If water is added, use no more than one part warm liquid to three parts Champion Breed Complete Formula Cat Food. Do not serve more than what the kittens will consume in a thirty-minute period to ensure freshness. Pregnancy and Nursing: Champion Breed Complete Formula Cat Food provides the extra nutrition needed by reproducing females in stage of gestation and lactation. Food consumption may vary during gestation, so feed the amount to maintain the pregnant female's good body condition. Food intake may double or even quadruple during lactating. Feeding Tips: Changes in your pet's feeding habits should be made gradually. When changing over to Champion Breed Complete Formula Cat Food fits substitute small amounts in place of your cat's current food. Then over the next week to 10 days, increase the amount of Champion Breed Complete Formula Cat Food, while decreasing amounts of your cat's other food, until your cat has 100% Champion Breed Complete Formula Cat Food. Healthful Hints: Remember to provide plenty of fresh water in a clean container daily. Store in a cool dry place. Regular veterinarian visits are recommended to ensure your cat's good health.
